Hello everyone! I sure hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I surely did. I love spending time with my family and just enjoying life. Of course the food was excellent. All the traditional food with lots of trimmings.

Well I hear there is a lot of sickness going around and for the most part our house escaped it all until today. My honey has come down with a case of the stomach virus I presume. I am playing nurse and trying to attend to his needs as best I can.

I have been absent from the crafting for quite some time but, I have finally ordered the My Digital Studio from Stampin Up! It's is quite a bargain at 50% off. So I am very excited about trying out the digital world.

I also have a ton of unused stamping supplies that include some retired stampin up sets and a bunch of other stuff. I am planning on taking pics of all it and putting a photo slide show on here. I will post prices and will be more than happy to ship to you (you, of course, pay the shipping).

I promise not to be so distant next time and look forward to all of you coming back and telling your friends about the upcoming goodies I will have here within the next week!

It's Monday so that means its Mojo Time~ Here is my card and I am tickled as to how it came out! Not to shabby for my first try at sponging grass and a sky! I used a really cool technique with my Copics. Ya know with water-based markers you can color and then spritz for a watercolor look..you can't do that with alcohol-based ones. So I found a cool trick on Stamp TV to utilize my Copics. Fill one of those mini spritzers with alcohol! (not the kind you drink, LOL!) color then spritz...stamp and Wallllaa! you have got a masterpiece!

Hi There! I like to combine challenges and that is what I did this week. I combined the color challenge with the sketch challenge from Splitcoast. Today was so nice outside and that is where I spent most of my time. Who wants to stay inside when its nice? This was put together rather quickly. I used Versamark on the Orange and the Pomegranate pieces. For the buttons I thinly sliced some paper and thread it through the buttons. I used some buttons that worked really nice. I also thread some thin sliced paper through the card for the x's.

Wish it would get here. It't been raining for days and I am tired of it!! For my card its hard to see but I stamped the image and then embossed with clear EP. I paper pieced the dress and used Crystal effects on the purses.

I decided to paper piece the part of the glass and the umbrella. Its kinda hard to see but I put frosted lace stickes where the liquid in the glass would be to show a kinda frothy drink.

Beautiful Easter Cards...finally done!!

Here are some cards that I made for some members of my family for this Easter Holiday. They were pretty simple. The first card on the top left was made with unknown DSP and the Eight Great Greeting set by Stampin Up! I used Barely Banana for the cardstock and ran it through the CB. I colored the bunny with Prismacolor Pencils and mineral spirits. Pretty simple!

The second card I made with the oval punches and 1/2 circle punch. Barely Banana and Pretty in Pink were used and again ran through the CB. All the edges of the bunny were inked with Pretty in Pink. I used a shear pink ribbon....not sure of the company. I saw this card on SCS and cannot remember the poster. But its very close with some minor changes. And finally the last card was made with Special Blessings set by Stampin Up. Sage Shadow CS and ink from Stampin Up.were used along with Whisper White ran through the CB with the Birds and Swirls folder. I used some prima flowers and pearls. Oval punches used for sentiment in corner. Another pretty simple card! TFL~~ Happy Easter to each and every one of you! God Bless!

I was feeling rather low today and thought what better way then to head over to Splitcoast for the Ways to Use it Challenge. Today challenge was to use labels on your card. I decided to use several stamp sets. Hero Arts and Stampin Up (yummy). For my colors I used Gable Green, So Saffron, Pixie Pink and Whisper White. I paper pieced the vase and used a Brilliance pad in Aurora to stamp a background on the labels. Some rhinestones and some pop-up dots really do make it nice! I finished with stamping the "with love" on a label and using the oval punch from Stampin Up and placing it in the bottom corner. I did alot of stiching on my sewing machine for this card. Yet another Challenge..Color Dare #11

It was time again for the color dare challenge over at Riley's Blog. I almost always forget about it until later in the evening. But they are fun and I always love the colors. This time the colors were Brocade Blue, Pale Plum and Close to Cocoa. I broke out some new rubber that I bought a little while ago. Its a stamp set called Branching Out. It's from a company called There She Goes. I have another set and have my eyes on a few other sets there. I used some rhinestones which I love and some Stickles. Once again I used one of my new EK Success border punch. TFL!!

Another Day...some more challenges

Once again I decided to combine challenges. This combines the color combo and card sketch over at Splitcoast. Colors are Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Close to Cocoa. I found this retired Stampin Up! DSP which I love and I thought it worked out perfect. I used stamps from Hero Arts. I also decided to break out and use the new EK Success border punch that i bought not too long ago at Michaels. For the finishing touches I used some dew drops. TFL!!

A Flower Pot Card for You......

Here is my card for the awesome challenge over at Splitcoast for today. Mondays are always try a new technique. This one was for a flower pot card. I decided to go with Chocolate Chip, Apricot Appeal and Cameo Coral for my colors. I used stamp sets, Always in my Thoughts and Load of Love. I used various punches from EK Success (big flowers and small scalloped circle for the sentiment), Martha Stewart (leaves) and a retired punch from Stampin Up! (insides of the big flowers). I also used Apricot Appeal ribbon. I of course had to had just a little bling to it. You can find the tutorial on how to do this wonderful card here.

Here is my card for the color dare challenge over at Riley's Blog. The colors this week were Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Taken with Teal. This was quite a challenge for me since I was not sure how these colors were all going to blend together. But as I finished I like this card. I used a stamp set called A Little Birdie Told Me by Stampin Up! I also used a DSP by them called Hawaii Papaya. I added some gems (which today was gem day), some pop-up dots and incorporated the paper piecing technique.

This week I decided to combine the 2 challenges over at Splitcoast. The color combo and the card sketch. This is a pretty new stamp set that I got recently from Stampin Up!. I just love it! Anywho, I used Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette for the inks and cardstock. The stamp set is called Very Versatile. I also used some great DSP from Stampin Up called Candy Lane. I added some rhinestones from Michaels, a little sponging and some sewing.

I useda new stamp set from Hero Arts. I decided to break out the sewing machine again for some quick stiching. I also used the SU scallop border punch and some circle punches. I incorporated the masking technique which I am very fond of.

Here is my entry for this weeks color challenge over at SCS. I was feeling the Easter thing again so I picked that theme. The colors were Pretty in Pink, Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze which are lovely together. I decided to use the faux postage technique again because I just love it. I used a stamp set from Hero Arts and the Happy Easter stamp is from Studio G. I also broke out the sewing machine and stiched around the edge and also placed a pretty in pink layer on the inside and sticked that also! TFL!!

Here is my card for the Ways to Use It challenge over as SCS. I am just loving yellow and purple together. I used a DP from Reminisce that I had stocked away. I also used Almost Amethyst CS from SU, the loads of love stamp set. I used large eyelets inside the tires and again tried my hand at watercoloring. These stickers are from Jolee's. Again I used one of my favorite edge punches from EK Success. Thanks for looking!

Hoppy Easter Dare

Here is my card for the Color Dare challenge over at Riley's Blog. The colors were Night of Navy, Almost Amethyst and Regal Rose. I just love these colors together. I think they work very nice for an Easter card.

I used sponging which I love to do. I used the SU scalloped edge punch and some buttons. I also used SU markers and I think the DP is K&Company.

Here is my card for this week's color challenge on Splitcoast. The colors were Riding Hood Red, Kraft, Summer Sun and optional Black. I am totally addicted to the SU top note die. I picked up the faux postage idea from SCS. I used Pocket Silhouettes and a small sentiment from Hero Arts. I love how the card turned out. So cute! Thanks for looking!

This card was for the Try a New Technique at SCS. Wow! It was a fun one at that! I used an old retired SU set. I can thank my friend Mandy for letting me borrow it and then I loved it so much I was lucky enough to find my very own set. I used Pretty in Pink, Chocolate chip for ink, Pretty in Pink for CS. I found the fabulous ribbon in my box of a ton other that again my friend Mandy and I found at the Offray Ribbon outlet in Hagerstown. Awesome place and I am ready to go back there like NOW~ Have a great day! :)

I just love this stamp set. Its from the Occassions Mini. I love buttons too! Had to put some on this card. I found a huge assortment at Surplus City and almost fell over when I did!! I used So Saffron, Old Olive and some of the paper from the sab items. I decided to use the negative piece from the Top Note die. I love how it turned out. Enjoy!

I made another card with A Happy Heart stamp set. I love this set. So cute! I cased another card from SCS. Thanks to daotz. I used Read Red, Basic Black, Pink Piroutte. I decided to use red heart brads in the corner. I used some some heart bling by the dandilions. I used basic black and moonlight white ink from Tsunieko. Both the cards I made this evening and they only took maybe 30 minutes for both. I have more to do tomorrow. Thanks for looking!
